For many women, their eyelash problems are not just limited to the shortness by which their lashes grow.

Some also have problems with regards to lash thickness.

You are probably wondering why the thickness of the lashes is such an issue.

Aren’t the eyelashes supposed to be fine and thin in the first place? Actually, the answer is no.

Thin and fine lashes make them very prone to breaking or falling out.

Thicker eyelashes are obviously stronger. Plus, the added girth makes the lashes combined look darker in color.

DHC eyelashWomen who have problems with eyelash thickness would automatically look into DHC Eyelash Tonic.

According to the manufacturer, DHC Eyelash Tonic primarily works to enhance thicker lashes but at the same time, also promotes eyelash growth.

So, from this, you can already deduce that the product is mainly a lash conditioner with some eyelash growth properties.

With the exceptions of Water, Phenoxyethanol, Aminomethyl Propanol, Carbomer, Butylene Glycol, and Allantoin, DHC Eyelash Tonic consists mainly of natural ingredients.

Rounding up the other ingredients are Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Placental Protein, Xanthan Gum, Swertia Japonica Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Symphytum Officinale Leaf Extract, Nasturtium Officinale Flower/Leaf Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, and Panax Ginseng Root Extract.

How To Use DHC Eyelash Tonic

How do you use DHC Eyelash Tonic?

The manufacturer’s instructions state that you should use it twice a day. In the mornings, you should apply it as a base for your mascara.

In the evenings, you use it as a conditioner.

The proper way of applying DHC eyelash tonic is by dipping the supplied brush into the clear solution, applying it first to the roots and then sweeping it up the length of the strands going to the tips.

If you are wondering how long you should expect to see results, sadly, the manufacturer does not provide such data.
The reviews on DHC Eyelash Tonic are very few and mixed.

While majority have confirmed that their lashes have become stronger and thicker, they did not observe any appreciable changes in the lash length.

Many have actually stopped using the product because they were not able to grow longer lashes.

It should again be mentioned though that DHC Eyelash Tonic is first and foremost an eyelash conditioner, and not a lash growth product.

Some women have complained that the product is difficult to store. Changes in temperature cause the solution to turn cloudy.

While there have been no reports of side effects, this does not mean that it is a safe product.

Again, there are just too few reviews (not to mention the fact that DHC Eyelash Tonic does not have any clinical trials to back it up) to decide conclusively that the product is safe.

While it is affordable, I would not recommend DHC Eyelash Tonic if you are also looking to grow longer eyelashes.

It may help you with eyelash strengthening and conditioning. But don’t expect eyelash growth.
