It is a sad fact that not all women are born to have long, lush eyelashes.

While there are many eyelash growth products that are currently being sold in the cosmetics market, and manufacturers are scrambling to come up with newer, better products to compete for every lady’s hard-earned dollar, women are specifically looking for products that contain natural ingredients. The reason for this is that although the eyelashes are the specific parts that they want to remedy, there is a chance that the product in question might get into the eyes and cause irritation and other untoward side effects. However, let me state as fact that even all-natural eyelash stimulants can cause irritation if you have sensitive eyes. One good example of this is BeautyLash MD.

What is BeautyLash MD?

BeautyLash MD is one product that can claim to be made primarily of natural ingredients. It is marketed by the manufacturer to promote the growth of longer eyelashes. Sadly, however, no clinical studies have been done on this product so that there are no estimates on when one can expect to see changes in their eyelashes.

The natural ingredients that can be found in BeautyLash MD are the following: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Arcyostaphylos Uva Uris (Bearberry) Leaf Extract, Yeast Extract, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Magnesium Ascrobyl Phyosphate (Vitamin C), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), and Tocophyerl Acetate (Vitamin E) Methylamido Dihy. The chemical compounds in the product are Hexipeptide-11, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Lactate, Proline, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Glycerin, and Water.

beautylash reviewHow to Apply BeautyLash MD?

You only need to apply BeautyLash MD once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed. Same as your favorite liquid eyeliner, simply sweep a thin line of the product along the base of both your upper and lower eyelashes. You can also use BeautyLash MD on your eyebrows if you have problems with them as well.

While the manufacturer claims that you can use BeautyLash MD on your lower eyelashes, I do not recommend it. As I have said many times before, applying any cosmetics on your lower eyelashes will increase your chances of getting noxious substances into your eyes. BeautyLash MD is certainly no exception. In fact, women who have tried the product have observed burning sensation, irritation, and redness in their eyes. If you have bought this product and still want to use, limit application to the upper eyelashes only. Be extra careful that you don’t get the product into your eyes.

How long did BeautyLash MD take to show results? There are only a handful of reviewers who claimed that they saw changes in their lashes within 2 to 3 weeks of daily use. Most ended up discontinuing use of the product because of the side effects that developed. Others who continued using it did not see any noticeable changes until after 2 MONTHS or more of use. There are quite a number who claimed that they did not see any changes in their eyelashes at all.

Given the mixed results of BeautyLash MD, I really cannot recommend it to you, my dear readers. Better stick with Idol Lash and similar products that are known to work and cost much less.
