Aside from the problem of growing only short eyelashes, a very common dilemma that women have is that their eyelashes are very fine or dry and brittle and are especially vulnerable to any environmental stressor, so that they easily break or fall out. For women with these special lash problems, it is the hope of Dermaheal Cosmeceuticals Eyelash Enhancer that they could provide the remedy for this particular problem.

What is Dermaheal?

Dermaheal promises longer, stronger and more beautiful eyelashes, thanks to its special biomimetic peptide complex combined with a growth factor together with multivitamins and minerals. With regular use of 3 to 8 weeks, the user can expect to see longer, fuller and stronger lashes.

Active Ingredients

Upon closer reading of the product details posted on Amazon, you will discover that Dermaheal has very few chemical ingredients. One can readily assume that the special biomimetic peptide complex consists of sh-Polypeptide-11 and sh-Polypeptide-3.

The vitamins and minerals are obtained from Biotin and Glycine Soja (Soybean Oil). Rounding up the very short ingredients list are Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Disodium EDTA, and Sodium Oleate.

If you move on to the Dermaheal website, the ingredients listed are very different: Rh-Polypeptide-1 (bFGF), Rh-Polypeptide-11 (aFGF), Hyaluronic Acid, Biotin, Multi-vitamins and Amino Acids. It makes one wonder which is the legitimate seller.

How to Use DermaHeal

I must confess I was very surprised about the directions on how to apply the product. Unlike other products wherein you dip a brush into a serum or drop the serum directly onto the brush, with Dermaheal, you place a small amount on your fingertip and gently rub it on the upper and lower eyelash areas.

You can also apply it to your eyebrows. For four hours, just allow the product to be absorbed by the skin, lashes and brows. It is recommended that the product be applied daily to achieve the best results. However, upon checking the official website of Dermaheal Cosmeceuticals, the product itself comes with a brush. So why there are different instructions is already a bit confusing.

Summary of Reviews

As I expected though, the reviews on this product are rather mixed. While there are no testimonials on the official website, there are a smattering of reviews on Ebay seller sites and Amazon. There were a few women who have claimed that the product does work.

One even noticed changes in her eyelashes as early as two weeks of regular use. By the fourth week, she had achieved the promised longer and stronger lashes. Sadly, most who reviewed the product claimed that they did not see the promised benefits at all.

Because of the wrong instructions on Amazon, many women ended up rubbing the product on their lashes as directed which led to a lot of serum wasted. There were a few who were smart enough early on to use another brush (probably during the early stages of the product’s introduction), still, they did not attain the desired results.

Undoubtedly, the biggest drawback to that “rubbing on the eyelashes” instruction is the price of Dermaheal. On Amazon, it is priced at a whopping ___ (check out the site)┬ábut still expensive). If one were indeed to just follow the earlier instructions, the small vial is really not sufficient and the buyer would just end up wasting a lot of money.

Given that there are so many conflicting information about this product, not to mention its high price tag, I’d rather pass on Dermaheal Cosmeceuticals Eyelash Enhancer and stick to a cheaper product that I’m pretty sure works better.
