Every woman would want to have long, dark, alluring eyelashes. Unfortunately, not all ladies are so blessed. You’ll probably be surprised to know that some of your favorite celebrities don’t have lush lashes and have, instead, benefited from the use of eye makeup and eyelash growth enhancement products. One such product that has been getting a lot of media mileage, particularly on the Internet, these days is Lash Allure MD.

What is Lash Allure MD

lash allureLash Allure MD is being marketed as both an eyelash and eyebrow growth stimulant. However, the manufacturer does not make any statements on whether the product can be used on the lower eyelashes as well. You are probably wondering why application of eyelash products on the lower lashes is such a huge deal. This is because your lower lashes and your lower eyelids serve as a catch basin for any substances that you apply to your eyes. If you’ve noticed, most eye drops require that you pull the lower eyelid back so that the drops can be put into it. For those with sensitive eyes, any eyelash products that are applied to the lower lashes are dispersed faster and may lead to development of side effects, such as redness and stinging sensations quicker. Because of this, majority of eyelash growth products are only applied to the upper lashes.

In the case of Lash Allure MD, you take the supplied wand and apply a small amount of the product along the upper eyelash line as you would your favorite eyeliner. Make sure that you sweep the wand starting from the inner part of the eye going to the outer corner. For the eyebrows, you just apply the product evenly along the brows. You can use Lash Allure MD in the morning, aside from your usual evening routine.

For those who are looking for natural ingredients in Lash Allure MD, you will be disappointed. The product contains purely chemical compounds, with Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 being its active ingredient. The other ingredients contained in Lash Allure MD are Amino Acids, Adenosine, Hydrolyzed Lecithin, Ribose, Fructose, Glucose,Bisphosphate, Saccharomyces/Copper Ferment, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Sodium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, 1.6, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Panthenol, and Water. Phenoxyethanol can cause reactions in people who particularly sensitive to this substance.

According to the manufacturer, you need to use Lash Allure MD religiously for 6 weeks in order to get the desired results. Unfortunately, this claim is not backed by any clinical trials conducted on the product.

lash allureI’ve tried many eyelash growth products in the past, and sad to say, Lash Allure MD certainly does not measure up to the likes of Idol Lash and Revitalash. Even the prescription preparation Latisse produces faster, noticeable results than this. After 6 weeks of regularly applying the product, all I got for my troubles were just a few millimeters of growth. There was no apparent increase in thickness. My lashes remained thin and fine as ever.

While there have been some women who have claimed that Lash Allure MD worked for them, you should consider the fact that it costs $50, pretty expensive if you compare it to similar products like Idol Lash that cost much less but work faster.
