Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara
Being a more practical sort of person, I’ve always hated the idea that you need to buy an eyelash growth product AND a mascara separately.
I mean, can’t you have a product that both promotes eyelash growth and also makes your eyes look beautiful? One such 2-in-1 product is Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara. (Yes, I know it has a weird name.)
What is Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara?
Contents
According to the product description, it makes your eyelashes longer and fuller with the added benefit of giving it color.
It also nourishes, conditions and strengthens your eyelashes.

As a mascara, it utilizes a multidimensional universal shade that easily adapts to all skin tones, so that your eyes are framed with beautiful lashes.
How To Use The Product?
How do you apply the product?
Using the special brush applicator, you first use the wide and flexible soft bristles, applying the serum to the lash root.
You then rotate the brush in your fingers for the fine, firm comb. Comb through your eyelashes to separate them and give them length and definition.
Let the product dry first before you re-apply another coat in order to achieve the desired appearance of your lashes.
You only need to use Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara once a day for a period of 4 to 8 weeks. It is a bit costly though, with a price tag of $30.00.
Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara Content
Except for Persia Gratissima (Avocado Oil), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla)Wax, and Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, and Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract, which serve as antioxidants and moisturizers, all the remaining ingredients are synthetic compounds.
Among them are vitamins like biotin and tocotrienols and peptides like myristoyl pentapeptide-17 and biotinoyl tripeptide-1.
The other synthetic compounds with moisturizing, conditioning and preservative properties are Water, Glyceryl Stearate, Propylene Glycol, PVP, C18-36 Acid Triglyceride, Cetyl Palmitate, Nylon-12, Stearic Acid, VP/Eicosene Copolymer, Steareth-20, Steareth-2, Cyclopentasiloxane, Aminomethyl Propanol, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Panthenol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Potassium Sorbate, Dimethiconol, and Hexylene Glycol. Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 778891) and Mica (CI 77019) are the coloring components of the product.
In the 4 to 8 weeks that I have used the product, I can say for certain that Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara is very effective in conditioning my eyelashes.
My existing eyelashes have definitely grown longer, thicker and fuller, although I have not seen any new eyelash growth.
Its mascara shade also highlighted my eyes quite beautifully so I often apply the product during the day before going to work.
The Other Side
The main drawback of the product is the applicator brush. It is most inconvenient to use. The brush catches too much of serum so that it forms clumps and blobs.
As a result, you end up putting too much of the product in your eyes and make a mess. Thankfully, it does not sting. In the end, I purchased a separate sterile wand and comb at my local beauty store.
Verdict
While I recommend Perricone MD No Mascara Mascara for its wonderful improvement on my lashes, the manufacturer should first think about designing a new applicator brush for it.
