When I was still a teenager, my best friends would always comment about how short and thin my eyelashes are. Since I was wearing glasses at that time, my problematic lashes were apparently magnified so that anyone and everyone can see just how ugly they look.

Although I switched to wearing contact lenses when I graduated from college and started a career, my short, fine lashes remained a persistent problem.

Seeing how much I was bothered by my lashes, my office mate and friend gave me Radiant Lash Eyelash Growth Product, saying that the read about it on the Internet and that it supposedly stimulates the eyelashes to grow longer.

Suffice to say, I decided to look into this product more deeply before trying it out.

What is Radiant Lash?

The first thing I learned about Radiant Lash is that it promotes the growth of longer and thicker lashes. It is safe for use for women like me who wear contact lenses and who have sensitive eyes.

Ingredients of Radiant Lash

Radiant Lash contains both natural extracts and chemical substances, which purportedly work in combination to stimulate eyelash growth and promote conditioning.

Among the listed natural ingredients are Chamomile Extract, Kelp Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Wheat Germ Acid, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Nettle Extract, Alfalfa Extract, Arnica Extract, Honey Extract, and Bitter Orange Flower Oil. The chemical compounds contained in Radiant Lash are Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Panthenol, Allantoin, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Acetamide MEA, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoyl Collagen Amino Acid, Cocoyl Sarcosine, Linolenic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Sulfur, Polysorbate 80, Oleth-10, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyhexylglycerin, , Polysorbate 20, and Tetrasodium EDTA.

I am greatly relieved to see that this product does not contain any prostaglandin derivatives that can cause eyelid discoloration and eye color changes or carcinogenic parabens. Needless to say, I was all hyped and ready to try it out.

How To Use Radiant Lash Eyelash Growth Product

Prior to application, I would clean my face and eyes of makeup. It is also advised to remove the contact lenses first before putting the solution on. Same as with liquid eyeliner, you should first put a small amount of the solution at the bases of both your upper and lower eyelashes. Do not wipe it away.

Simply let the solution dry so that it will be absorbed by the skin. The manufacturer guarantees that positive results will be obtained within 6 weeks of daily use.

Here’s how Radiant Lash worked for me. I must admit that I was not satisfied by the slow rate by which my lashes grew. It just isn’t fast enough for me.

Even after 6 weeks, my lashes were still not long enough to meet my standards. Essentially, I had to use the product for more than 6 weeks before I was able to achieve the desired eyelash length. There is also the matter that if the solution gets into your eyes, it can sting.

It happened twice when I was rushing for work and I had to rinse my eyes out and reapply the product.

Would I recommend Radiant Lash? Probably… if you are patient and willing enough to wait and continuously apply the product for 6 weeks or more.

But, if you want to see fast results, Radiant Lash may not be the product for you. As much as I appreciate my friend’s generosity, I don’t see myself buying Radiant Lash again, especially since it costs $49.99.

I think I’ll try Idol Lash next and see what happens. Please let me know what you think.

Radiant Lash Review

Every woman would want to have beautiful eyelashes. While the eyes are considered the windows to the soul, the eyelashes serve as a silky curtain to add to its feminine allure. Of course, there are some women who know the practical purpose of lashes, which is to provide a protective cover for the eyes against dust and other irritants. So, if one is saddled with short and stubby or very thin and fine lashes, they would want to try out any product that will help improve their eyelashes’ appearance or, better yet, aid them in growing new, longer lashes. With a product name like Radiant Lash, you are definitely enticed to see if this particular eyelash growth enhancer can give you radiant lashes.

Radiant Lash

Radiant Lash is one of those specially formulated products that can be used by both women and men to improve the growth of their eyelashes. Surprisingly, unlike other products, the manufacturer of Radiant Lash does not recommend that the product be used on the eyebrows, claiming that it would require a much stronger formulation for Radiant Lash’s active ingredients to act on the follicles in the much thicker skinned brows. Clinical studies—and this does not include animal testing—done on Radiant Lash revealed that you can expect to see results within 6 weeks of daily application.

Radiant Lash Ingredients

Radiant Lash consists of both natural ingredients and chemical compounds. Its active ingredient is Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, which serves as the building block for new eyelashes. Other chemical compounds contained in the product are Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Phenoxyethanol (which can cause irritation, so don’t use this product if you are sensitive to this ingredient) , Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Allantoin, Ethyhexylglycerin, Polysorbate 20, Polysorbate 80, Oleth-10, Acetamide MEA, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Sodium Cocoyl Collagen Amino Acid, Cocoyl Sarcosine, Sulfur, Tetrasodium EDTA, Linolenic Acid, Linoleic Acid, and Water. Rounding up the natural ingredients of Radiant Lash are Alfalfa Extract, Arnica Extract, Honey Extract, Chamomile Extract, Kelp Extract, Wheat Germ Acid, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Nettle Extract, and Bitter Orange Flower Oil.

How to Use Radian Lash

To apply Radiant Lash, you should first clean your face and eyes thoroughly with soap and water. If you are using eye makeup, make sure that you remove all mascara and eye shadow with the appropriate cleansers. Any makeup that is not removed from the eye areas will lead to poor absorption of the product by the eyelash follicles. Don’t forget to dry your eyes. Take the applicator brush and hold it horizontally. Draw a thin line of the product along the upper and lower eyelid margins starting from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eyes. Let the product stay for 2 minutes in order for it to be absorbed and also to let it dry in the air. Make sure that the product is completely dry before applying any makeup. Apply the product twice a day in the morning and in the evening before bedtime.

Many reviewers have reported positive results with regular use of Radiant Lash, with some noting changes within 4 weeks. Most, however, reported new eyelash growth in the 6 weeks noted by the manufacturer’s clinical studies. Thankfully, there are very few reports of side effects. Still, if you are known to be sensitive to some of the ingredients contained in Radiant Lash, it is best not to try out this product.
